We took the popular Siargao tri-island loop with a Corregidor stop — Corregidor, Naked Island, Daku Island, and Guyam — and paid ₱2,000 per person. The full-day trip delivered scenery, a satisfying hike, sandbar time, and relaxed beach vibes. Here’s what to expect, what we loved, and what to consider before you book.

Price and logistics

  • Price: ₱2,000 per person (typical group tour price; confirm with operator before booking).
  • Pick-up & start: We were picked up at 7:44 AM, handled port paperwork, waited ~1 hour, and finally got on the boat and sailed around 9:36–9:43 AM. Expect some waiting for grouping and briefing…
  • Boat & crew: About 22 guests, 5 boatmen, plus one guide (ours: Ms. Jane and Jack Sparrow LOL). Lunch included (served on Corregidor).
  • We booked the tour from COLZ TRAVEL

Itinerary (typical sequence)

  1. Corregidor Island — A 30-minute hike to a peak with rolling grassy hills and panoramic views. Lunch is served onshore; we stayed about 2 hours. Facilities include free restrooms and a shower. There’s also a small restaurant selling snacks, shakes, liquor, and full meals—handy for extra drinks or treats despite lunch being included.
  2. Naked Island — A permanent sandbar ideal for drone shots, sunbathing, and swimming. We spent about 30 minutes here.
  3. Daku Island — The largest stop, with local vendors selling shakes and rum, a spot for beach volleyball, and relaxed lounging. Friendly stray dogs greet visitors. Our stop was roughly 25 minutes.
  4. Guyam Island — A small, photogenic island with live music and drinks—perfect for photos, a final swim, and a mellow wind-down before heading back. We spent time listening to music, taking photos, and swimming.

Our experience

Morning: Pick-up was on time. Port formalities took longer than expected due to other groups; boarding and briefing added more wait time.

On the boat: Quiet, breezy ride with scenic rock formations. The crew was professional; guide gave the basic itinerary. I bought a waterproof phone case at the port for ₱100 — a useful impulse buy for beach and rain protection.

Corregidor: The 30-minute hike was moderate and rewarding — the peak views felt worth the effort. The island’s manicured grass and buko trees gave it a Batanes/Calaguas-like vibe, but uniquely Surigao. Lunch onshore was relaxed

Naked Island: Stunning sandbar, great for photos and drone footage. The sandbar remains exposed at high and low tides.

Daku Island: Good for social beach time, shakes, and volleyball. No significant coral here, but the atmosphere was fun, and we interacted with friendly stray dogs.

Guyam Island: Small but very Instagrammable; live music added a nice vibe. Across the islands, swimming is mostly over sand (not coral), so snorkeling won’t reveal much coral life unless you go elsewhere.

Return: Trip back to port and tricycle drop-off to the hotel (we stayed at Lamari) was seamless.

What we liked

  • Variety: Hike + sandbar + relaxed island life in one day.
  • Scenery: Rolling grassy peaks at Corregidor and photogenic sandbars.
  • Low-key vibe: The boat had more breeze and views than loud music — great for photos and relaxing.
  • Convenience: Staying at Lamari made transfers easy.

What could be better

  • Waiting time: Expect delays for paperwork and group assembly at the port.
  • Snorkeling expectations: If you want coral-rich snorkeling, this route is not ideal. I think it wasn’t necessary to rent the snorkel gear for Php250 per person at the port in General Luna.
  • Space on boat: Boats are shared with ~20+ guests; limited personal space during travel and landing maneuvers. Take care of your stuff to not fall into the water.

Tips & practical advice

  • Bring sunscreen, hat, water shoes, and a lightweight towel.
  • Buy a cheap waterproof phone case at the port (we paid ₱100) or bring a dry bag.
  • Bring small cash in pesos for shakes, souvenirs, tips, and tricycle fares.
  • Confirm what’s included (lunch, guide, fees) and ask about pick-up time to avoid surprises.
  • If you plan drone shots, check local rules and tell your operator in advance.
  • If you want coral snorkeling, consider alternate sites or ask for extension options.

Recommendation

  • Recommended if you want a balanced day of light trekking, spectacular sandbar photos, and relaxed island beach time without intense snorkeling. Great for couples, small groups, and travelers who value scenery and chill vibes.
  • Skip or modify if you prioritize coral reefs, private/quiet boats, or minimal waiting time.

PARTING WORDS

For ₱2,000 per person, the tri-island + Corregidor trip is a solid value for scenic views, memorable photos, and a relaxed islanding experience. Expect some waiting at the port, sandy-bottom swimming (not coral), and a friendly, low-key vibe — overall a highly enjoyable way to celebrate special occasions or add a scenic day to your Siargao stay.
