At the end of November, I was thrilled to be part of the (first-ever) Thanksgiving party organized by the Cebu Bloggers Society (CBS) at The Hotel Elizabeth in Cebu City. This vibrant celebration brought together fellow bloggers to enjoy great food, laughter, music, and unforgettable moments. While the party was the main highlight, I couldn’t help but be captivated by the luxurious penthouse suite offered at the hotel.
The penthouse is a spacious 121 square meters, and it is currently available for only PHP 22,000 per month instead of the usual PHP 32,000. This is such a great deal!
It features a luxurious master bedroom with a large king-sized bed, plus an additional room with two comfortable queen-sized beds. There are two bathrooms with showers and beautiful bathtubs, complete with high-quality toiletries for your comfort.

The view from the penthouse is good, as it is located on the 11th floor, allowing you to see some tall buildings in the city. I can imagine enjoying dinner with family in the cozy living area or cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a fridge and cooking appliances. The elegant carpets and classic interior design create a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for families, especially for Balikbayan relatives who will feel right at home.
Additionally, the penthouse is conveniently located near Cebu Business Park, making it a perfect choice for when my mom and aunts come to visit. It’s within walking distance of Ayala Center and the Montage building, which has the Eat& Restaurant that I love, along with several coffee shops nearby. Plus, it’s only a short walk to our home, so my mom can easily stay here.
While the penthouse stole the show, The Hotel Elizabeth also offers other great room options to fit different budgets. Here are a few:

The hotel serves a variety of tasty Filipino dishes at Flora Cafe, like crispy pata, baked chicken, chop suey, kinilaw, and more… perfect for when you don’t feel like going out to eat.
After our Thanksgiving dinner, we had a blast singing at the hotel’s KTV music rooms called LYRIC LOUNGE.
We spent three hours indulging in delicious food, including some barkada favorites like pizza, chicken wings, pasta, calamari, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The great sound system and updated song list added to the fun atmosphere. As I’m currently on a keto diet, I focused on meat and some veggies, but I especially loved the chop suey and crispy pata!
The lounge is spacious with comfortable couches, and prices start at PHP 5,000 for 1-5 people, PHP 10,000 for 6-10, PHP 15,000 for 11-20, and PHP 20, 000 for 20 – 30 people (like our group), all including food and drinks.
During our time at the Lyric Lounge, the CBS officers ensured we had a chance to win some prizes. They initially encouraged everyone to participate in singing, but it seemed like everyone just wanted to keep singing and didn’t want to stop—after all, we are Filipinos! LOL
