Can I Get a Hair Rebond after 6 months of Perm?

ABSOLUTELY YES!!!

You just need to find a salon who knows how to deal with fragile or damaged permed hair.

I got my hair permed 6 months ago. Here are some photos of my hair treated with TRADITIONAL PERMING. It’s not that I regretted getting one, just that recently, the temperature in the Philippines had been seriously high, I felt the urge to remove my curls. Hence I went to a few salons in my hometown and asked some stylists to rebond my hair. As I expected, they all refused. They said exposure to more chemicals will kill the permed parts of my hair so unless I have them cut, rebonding is utterly impracticable. I thought that made sense. I don’t want to worsen my hair condition so I was cool with waiting for my perm to grow out.

For a while I got over with my rebonding frustration, until last Tuesday when I met my friend Joy at the dental clinic. Her hair was everything I would want my hair to be in Summer. I must have whined a lot about my hair that she immediately called the salon owner of Queen’s Beauty Salon, Ms. Ann Hernia, and referred me. After my dental appointment, I went straight to the Salon and yes, had my hair rebonded and experienced a Brazilian blowout for the first time.

I made a separate entry about the details of my journey back to chemically straightened hair (click here to read). In the meantime, let me share with you the after treatment photo and video 🙂

So here’s my hair after my first wash… didn’t use blower or hair iron. Just let it dry

I washed my hair with water (didn’t shampoo), conditioned with iCure for about 5 minutes, towel dried, and here’s the result:

My hair remained straight. The permed parts didn’t rubberize at all. The hair shine is normal but better than what I expected. The strands are soft to touch. The feel is so light… All in all, I think the Hair Rebond plus Brazilian Blowout at Queen’s Beauty Salon did some miracles to my head and by far, the best treatment my hair has ever had. 

I definitely recommend Queen’s Beauty Salon for everyone who has hair worries. Trust me, once you go there, all your worries will go away and you’ll be left with an AMAZING hair!
