Quality dining experience at Harbour Restaurant, The Harbour View Hotel


If you are staying at The Harbour View Hotel in Hong Kong, you won’t only enjoy a great view of the harbour, you’ll also enjoy its dining offers. 

Had the chance to experience a dinner buffet here after surviving the first day of the IAAPA trade show. Before digging into each buffet section, I ate plates of raw sea urchin. I think the urchins opened my palate and made me hungrier, I could eat more than I usually do.

I particularly enjoyed the salmon sashimi, vegetable salad, and pho. Oh, and also the desserts!

There were some troubles that could’ve turned the night into a disaster (like wine spill, delays or lost complimentary dish), nevertheless, I could tell everybody had a great time. It was a memorable dining experience.

“Noble Tasty Dinner”

This rainy summer, The Harbour View Hotel offers its “noble tasty dinner buffet” to guests both staying or visiting the property.

Harbour Restaurant is pleased to prepare an enticing array of nourishing dishes crafted from nutritious Chinese ingredients, Abalone, Sea Cucumber, Fish Maw, and Bird’s Nest, for you to tackle the sluggish “Qi”, the inner circulation in your body, in this hot, humid and rainy summer. Here are the highlights:

Fresh Tossed Salads: 

Tribute Vegetables Salad with Sesame Dressing, Black Fungus Salad with Aged Vinegar, Marinated Cucumber Salad with Garlic and Chili, Bitter Melon Salad (The two selected salads will be rotationally served)

Other Hot Dishes on Rotational Basis: 

Roasted U.S Sirlion of Beef and Lamb Rack, Pan-seared Hoki Cod Fillet with Bird’s Nest and Herb Cream Sauce, Roasted Chicken with Rosemary and Mango Salsa, Stewed OX Tail in Red Wine Sauce, Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee, Stir-fried Shrimp with Capsicum and Honey Citron Sauce, etc.

Fresh Seafood Counter: 

Canadian Snow Crab Legs, Pacific Sea Whelks, New Zealand Mussels, Clams, Fresh Shrimps, New Zealand Oysters

Sashimi Counter: 

Salmon, Octopus, Tuna, Hokkaido Scallop, Herring, Amaebi, *Hokkigai and *Swordfish
