HM Transport Shuttle to NAIA + Other Airport Tranfers

At last! Victory Liner Transport has made the initiative to launch airport transfer from their terminal station to all terminals of Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Passengers can now head to the airport from EDSA via HM Shuttle Bus for a fee of PHP 20.

This is a good rate compared to a taxi fare of more or less PHP 200 from EDSA to NAIA. Also it is convenient as taxi drivers are a bit hesitant to drop off passengers to the airport due to heavy traffic.

In the photo below you can see the schedule of the shuttle bus from Pasay Terminal to NAIA 1-4. The shuttle service operates in an hourly trip from 5 AM to 10 PM.

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE IN NAIA

Unfortunately there are NO FREE shuttle transfers to and from each terminals. If you have a transit flight, I am afraid you’d need to take the white metered taxi (PHP 99-200) or yellow airport taxi (php 150-300) or airport shuttle (for PHP 20, depending on availability). Some DOT vans are available too. Transfer from terminal 3 to terminal 1 is PHP 500.

Some hotels like Resorts World Manila offer FREE drop-off and pick-up for their hotel guests. Check the airport transfer service of your hotels.

OTHER AIRPORT TRANSPORT SERVICE

If you are going to NAIA, Uber is available. But the airport management prohibits UBER, GRAB-A-TAXI or white metered taxis to pick-up passengers at the arrival area. This still confuses me. I mean obviously they want the DOT vans and yellow taxis to benefit but isn’t it such an inconvenience?

I hope transport infrastructure improve more as the economy continues to grow – must be very convenient to have train stations at the airport, free
shuttle transfer in and around the airport premise just like in other countries… Maybe then we can say with deep conviction, it is more fun to travel in the Philippines!

What do you think? Do you want to have a train station at the airport? Leave your comments below! Thanks so much!
