NEW NAIA Terminal Assignments Announced!

On Monday, September 9, Angelito Alvarez, general manager of New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC), revealed the new terminal assignments at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). This change involves local carriers like Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Air Asia. However, Alvarez mentioned that there isn’t an exact date for implementation.

New Terminal Assignments:

  • Terminal 1: Philippine Airlines (International flights)
  • Terminal 2: Philippine Airlines (Domestic flights) and Cebu Pacific (Domestic flights)
  • Terminal 3: All international airlines
  • Terminal 4: Air Asia

The reorganization is part of efforts to decongest NAIA, a recurring necessity highlighted by officials to improve the airport experience. By redistributing flights across terminals, the goal is to enhance passenger flow and operational efficiency.

This transition aims to make travel more streamlined and enjoyable. Stay tuned for further updates as we monitor these developments, and hope for a smoother journey through NAIA in the near future.
