Dusit International Executive Committee Leaders, École hôtelière de Lausanne Executives (EHL), and Vista Land and Lifescapes Directors held a press conference, today, October 3rd, at DusitD2 The Fort in Taguig City, to introduce their inspired collaboration, the Dusit Hospitality Management College (DHMC).
During the media interview, the partners highlighted various areas through which Dusit Hospitality Management College can add value to the growing hospitality sectors in the Philippines and abroad, as well as DHMC’s aspiration to produce globally competent Filipino hospitality managers.
The 10-storey DHMC is the first in the country. It integrates cutting-edge facilities with collaborative study areas. Its curriculum features programs designed to train students and professionals through contemporary pedagogy and real-world operation practices.
Just last year, DHMC launched its Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management in Makati City in partnership with the 126-year-old EHL in Switzerland, currently the top hospitality management school in the world under the QS World University Rankings.
“Heartwarming service hospitality is an attribute associated with Filipino professionals, and it is in this spirit that Dusit Hospitality Management College chose to embark in this innovative and ambitious endeavor with École hôtelière de Lausanne. With its certified hospitality management program, future hoteliers and concept entrepreneurs can pursue careers in the hospitality sector set in a global landscape,” said DHMC Managing Director Frouke Gerbens.
“With the collaboration, DHMC is presenting the finest Swiss hospitality education with dynamic classroom learning, innovative industry approach, and operation assignment set in hotels and restaurants of global standards,” he added.
The morning event also included a tour of DHMC’s facilities: interactive classrooms with modern AV equipment; spacious learning kitchens; inventive learning venues including a wine science laboratory and operations simulation wing; and collaborative study areas with the learning resource center and students’ think tank.
Future hoteliers, restaurateurs, and the next generation of industry entrepreneurs are most welcome to visit DHMC manila as the property holds campus tours and information session. For tour schedules or academic inquiries, you may call +63 2 250 8988.
