This lovely restaurant is just a few minute walk from our hotel, La Carmela de Boracay. We randomly chose to dine in this lounge in search of pizza. That time Toshiya was in dire need of pizza………!
Calypso lounge menu consists of a variety of food and beverage both from Asian and European cuisines– they boast of their home-made pasta, rice and seafood platter… and their coffee! Diners can also enjoy their juices, ice-cold beer, wine, and cocktails.
The food were tasty and the portions were generous but the price is a bit more expensive. Good thing the waiting staff are polite and attentive.
What I liked most about this restaurant is the dining atmosphere. I don’t know if it’s the candle-lit tables or the cushioned sofa… just to me it appeared romantic and calm… It’s perfect to dine here after a long day at the beach.
