Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the grand opening of ChickyFam in Cebu. The brand officially launched 15 new branches across the city, and I was fortunate to visit two of their exciting new stores, specializing in authentic oven-roasted chicken in Mambaling—one on Bayabas Street and the other on Jai Alai Street.
We started the day with a fun motorcade from the Cebu Heritage Monument, taking lots of photos along the way 🙂
The event was filled with energy, with Cebu content creators and bloggers like myself joining the celebration.
The grand opening was packed with stars from Manila such as Valeria Concepcion and Kevin Quiambao, plus the members of the P-Pop group Hiraya. I even learned the choreography to the catchy ChickyFam jingle from Joanna Lara and Kitty (of Hiraya)—two very beautiful and kind young ladies. It was inspiring to see celebrities and founders of the brand all together, engaging with the local community.
The event wasn’t just about the grand opening; there were games, meet-and-greet sessions, and a chance to connect with the people behind ChickyFam. Even though the streets were hot and I got a little roasted under the sun, it was all worth it! I met amazing people from the ChickyFam family and, at the end of the day, I brought home a delicious oven-roasted chicken from them.
