Another café has opened in Cebu Business Park along Samar Loop — La Crème Café at Holiday Inn Cebu Business Park. I was honored to attend the grand opening. La Crème offers premium desserts and sandwiches baked fresh daily by Chef Junghee, and its cozy, inviting space in the heart of Cebu City is perfect for remote work, studying, or simply enjoying coffee and pastries in a polished, luxurious setting. I also had the pleasure of interviewing the owner, Mr. Ken, to learn more about their story and what makes La Crème special.
A Family-Owned Business with Heart
La Creme is a family affair. The owner, Chef Junghee, is the talented baker behind the delicious treats that fill the cafe. She puts love and care into every pastry, cake, and cookie. The partnership with Holiday Inn ensures that these delightful offerings are available to the community 24 hours a day.
During my visit, I also met Ms. Gracean, the friendly manager of the shop. She explained how they want La Creme to feel like a homey space for everyone, from busy workers to families and friends looking for a sweet escape. I also thank Sir Jeff and the General Manager of Holiday Inn Cebu for making us feel so welcome and part of this special occasion.

A Taste of South Korean Desserts in Cebu
What makes La Creme unique is its focus on authentic family recipes from South Korea. The cafe offers masterful pastries, premium cakes, and comforting cookies baked with passion. All these treats are made fresh daily, ensuring quality and taste.
Some of my personal favorites include:
- The almond financier (PHP 130)
- Egg scones (PHP 170)
- Signature strawberry cake (PHP 290)
- Macadamia almond cookie (PHP 190)
- And of course, their famous yogurt frappe (PHP 220), which I enjoyed a lot
Whether you want a warm pastry or a sweet beverage, La Creme has something satisfying for everyone. Their prices are reasonable, and the flavors remind you of home—comforting and delightful.

Perfect Spot for Every Moment
What I love most is that La Creme is located just a few steps from where many of us live or work. It’s the perfect place for those late shifts when you need a quick break or a treat to lift your mood. It truly adds a new flavor to Samar Loop and creates that warm, community vibe in the area.
They are open 24/7, so you can visit anytime for coffee, tea, cakes, or cookies. It is a fantastic addition to Holiday Inn Cebu, making the area livelier and more inviting.
A Community Celebration
The grand opening was more than just the launch of a new cafe; it was a celebration of community and passion. I met fellow bloggers, media friends, and some guests from Holiday Inn. Everyone shared their excitement for La Creme and the chance to enjoy their special treats.
Special thanks to the staff and management for making everyone feel so valued. It’s clear that La Creme aims to be more than a cafe — it wants to be a place where people create happy memories and enjoy good food.
