After working out at Edsa Shangri-La, Manila fitness centre, I spent some time at the spa for hydrotherapy. I know the hot and cold tubs help reduce joint and muscle pain, so I didn’t hesitate to dip in. Now, I feel so much better and revitalized, I’m ready for my beauty regimen! I only have a simple one. You can read my skincare routine here. But in this post, I am only sharing one of my hair care secrets.
These days, I am using Legánde Argan Oil for my hair, but before I talk about it further, I must say, I think, so far, nothing beats Edsa Shangri-La, Manila Health Club. Here, members and hotel guests have unlimited access to the facilities—the fitness gym that’s open 24/7 (with trainers and top-notch selection of equipment, including the ones I need for Muay Thai training); outdoor pool area with several swimming pools and an amazing spa with sauna, jacuzzi, locker room and luxurious shower cubicles. The membership fee is reasonable at Php10k per month. Hotel guests (like me) are free!
I mentioned that the membership fee is reasonable because if I compute the money I’d spend for hydrotherapy elsewhere, gym and other facilities access, it’s cost-effective… anyway, here I am now inside the spa, ready to apply Argan Oil to my hair. I am using the 30ml Argan Oil of Legandē Inc.
I use Argan Oil from Legánde, Inc.

Why use Argan Oil for the hair
Argan oil is basically plant oil found in the Southwestern country of Morocco. It is extracted from a tree known as Argania Spinosa.
In case you’re not aware of the benefits of Argan Oil for the hair, consider the contents of this wonder compound: antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and Vitamin E—which are contained in high amounts! Basically, Argan Oil is able to restore shine/ bounce/ health to dull, lifeless hair. In addition, as you may have already figured, this oil is good for the skin too.
My hair is chemically-treated so I need “to maintain” it more, meaning, I need to regularly visit the salon for “nourishment”. But with Argain Oil applied to my hair daily, the frequent visit to the salon is not necessary.
There are many Argan Oil products in the market. What I am using is the one from Legande, Inc.. A friend introduced it to me and when I checked, I came to like their products.
Legande is widely known for Multipure water filters. But there are many other health and wellness products they sell on their website.
Why is Legande Argan Oil good for you?
I was able to attend the media launch of some of Legande’s products last week. During the event, we were able to learn about the products–where they come from, what are their ingredients, their uses, cost and what not. I was also able to test and use them.
What I like most about Legánde Argan Oil is that it is 100% pure and certified organic. It is affordable too. The 30ml bottle costs Php 903.00. The 10ml bottle is Ph 413.00.
Aside from it being friendly to budget, I like that the oil itself is non-greasy/ non-sticky; it doesn’t have a funny smell. The container doesn’t leak too.
Where can you buy the product?
You can purchase their products online through their website.
You can also visit their main office at 407 West Tower, Philippine Stock Exchange Bldg. Exchange Road Ortigas Center, Pasig City, 1602 Metro Manila.
They are open daily, from 8am to 5pm
